A Daedra's Best Friend at The Break of Dawn

Getting up in the morning, we left the Inn and I decided to talk to the Blacksmith about this dog.

As I approached he asks me

"Did you see a hound on the road? A fine, strong creature that's been wandering near town."

"No, sorry I didn't see a dog."

"There's one out on the road. I can't afford to chase him down but I could use a fierce, loyal beast to keep me company. If you were willing to retrieve him for me I'd give you some fresh meat to attract him out on the road."

"Sure, we can catch him."

"Good! There's some gold in it for you if you succeed. Here's the meat. Check the road just outside of town."

So we headed out to the outskirts of town.

After exiting Haemar's Shame we headed out to Whiterun, stopping along the way in Riverwood.

As we entered the town, Inigo began to groan in pain.

"Argh! Not again! Stay where you are, brain. Stay where you are.. Ow! Arghh..

I assured him that as soon as we get the Dragonstone to Whiterun and find a bit of time we would investigate why he was experiencing these... Mind vibrations..

He nods.

We decided to stay the night at the Sleeping Giant Inn until morning when we would head out for Whiterun.

Inside, I asked the barkeep where the Innkeeper was.

"Out. She owns the place, she does what she wants."

"So how do I rent a room?"

"Inn's closed. Bar's still open, though. Feel free to sit and put your head down on the table as long as you like. I won't bother you."

Deciding there was no time to waste anyway, we hired the Carriage Driver outside the town to take us to Whiterun while we slept in the back of the carriage.
